Let's talk about Sex... notes from the field
I had a really wonderful time speaking with some of you last Saturday.
Please join me on Saturday, June 17th at 11 am (west coast) for our second Zoom conversation about the intersection of sex and faith. I will have just returned from San Fransisco and the annual AASECT (The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) Conference.
There are so many amazing-looking sessions. The opening plenary is: Listen to Black Women: The Power of Black Women's Collective Sexual Wisdom. Then I might go to Psychedelics, Drugs, Sex, Chocolate, and How We Connect or maybe Sex and Love After the Cancer Diagnosis: Providers Helping Partners Stay Connected.
I most certainly will be attending: Deep Sex-Positivity: It’s Not About Sexual Enthusiasm. It’s About Sexual Justice as well as The Sacred and The Sacral: Reclaiming Sexuality in Spiritual Communities.
I am looking forward to sharing what I learn with all of you. Tickets are at Eventbrite- If you feel like donating please do, if not please don’t worry about it.
Prayers for all of you who are navigating the delicate space of honoring what you know to be true about yourself, and belonging to a community of faith.
Peace
Kerlin
